The Gran Hotel Son Net is a converted 17th century finca in a beautiful rural setting in the foothills of the Tramuntana Mountains.
While the property dates back to 1672 , complete with traditional stone architecture and the original well and patio, the 31 rooms and suites are modern, spacious and full of light with splendid vistas.
The hotel has two restaurants; Oleum, the main restaurant and El Gazebo, the informal outdoor restaurant open in the summer months. Oleum offers a stylish and intimate environment serving a selection of innovative Mediterranean and Mallorcan dishes, with most ingredients locally sourced from the nearby market and Son Net's own vegetable garden. The relaxed El Gazebo serves less elaborate dishes and provides guests with views across the Puigpunyent valley.
The Bar Son Net features a range of art and antique furniture, and the Chimney Room has a large open wood burning fireplace for winter days plus a barman on hand to prepare a range of cocktails for guest throughout their stay.
Guests have access to a wide range of activities at Son Net, including golf, tennis, cycling, horse riding, trekking in the surrounding countryside, as well as wine tasting tours of local vineyards. Livestock has also been re-introduced with sheep grazing in the fields below the hotel and chickens laying fresh eggs for hotel guests.
