Itinerary Highlights

  • Florence - 4 nights
The journey begins in Tuscany's fascinating capital city of Florence, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, noted for its artistic and architectural heritage. Just outside the city is the sanctuary of II Salviatino - a traditional 15th century villa with views of Florence's cathedral dome and the Tuscan countryside. Florence is known as 'The Cradle of the Renaissance' and with its magnificent Duomo, Uffizi gallery and the Ponte Vecchio bridge, it is quite simply one of the world's finest open-air museums. After an introductory private tour of Florence's highlights with an expert guide, the next three days can be spent exploring the city at your own pace. For a peaceful afternoon, retreat to the hotel's relaxing spa and swimming pool.

  • Rural Tuscany - 3 nights
Travelling from the capital city to the Tuscan countryside, a beautifully restored 19th century castle awaits: Castello Di Casole. Part of one of the largest private estates in Italy, the heated infinity pool looks out over the surrounding fields and vineyards, with sauna and steam room nearby. Tuscany's highlights include Siena, which hosts the famous annual Palio horse race; the wonderfully preserved medieval city of San Gimignano, with its soaring towers; and Pisa with its leaning tower. Enjoy a private full day tour of Siena, and explore the historic towns of Tuscany, which are packed with architectural and artistic treasures. The surrounding picturesque landscapes of rolling hills and cypress trees are perfect for long walks or leisurely cycle rides.
