On the northern coast of Crete, a few minutes away from the fashionable harbour town of Chania, lies Domes Noruz. Newly opened and with a focus on the chic and contemporary, this is an adults only escape with lots of style.
Comprising 83 rooms and suites, Domes Noruz is large enough to suit a range of traveller tastes while still remaining boutique in style and offering the highest quality service. All of the rooms and suites are decorated in light neutrals and feature splashes of blue as a nod to the typical Greek architecture. The furnishings are modern and quirky, making the suites both comfortable and enjoyable spaces to rest and relax in. All of the suites feature either plunge pools, outdoor heated Jacuzzis or private pools, and either ocean or pool views. A particular favourite of ours are the Absolute Haven suites, thanks to their stunning ocean views and terraces with an outdoor bath and private pool.
Dining at Domes Noruz Chania is a typically delicious Greek affair, with a global twist. The main restaurant, Zeen, serves food all day and adapts with the mood of the day, from casual sunny breakfasts to dramatic sunset cocktails. The Raw Bar is a sushi and cocktail restaurant which offers a slightly more stylish and upbeat atmosphere alongside a vast and delicious selection of fresh sushi. The rooftop bar here is also a must visit thanks to the breath taking sunset views.
With two on site swimming pools and a fantastic spa Domes Noruz makes the ideal relaxation retreat. There is also fully fitted fitness room and the hotel borders Agioi Apostoloi, one of the most beautiful beaches in Crete. The vibrant town of Chania is also a great place to explore, dine and drink, with a selection of elegant and lively bars and restaurants and a lovely harbour.
