Santorini 'Minimoon'

What we came up with

Santorini is perhaps the most scenic of the Greek islands, formerly known as 'Kalliste', meaning 'most beautiful one'. Escape to Santorini's black-sand shores, rugged volcanic landscape, and traditional blue and white stucco towns. From the charming towns of Fira and Oia, which cling to the island's towering cliff faces, to the impressive sea-filled caldera, Santorini offers visitors a refreshing break in an idyllic location.

Itinerary Highlights

  • Santorini - 7 days
Crescent-shaped Santorini is one of the most spectacular islands in the world, with its giant sea-filled caldera created by an ancient volcanic eruption. Built into the red volcanic slopes high above the Aegean Sea, and a short walk from the charming village of Oia, are the Perivolas Traditional Houses. Old cave dwellings that were once the homes, wineries and stables of indigenous fishermen and farmers, the Perivolas Houses are surrounded by landscaped grounds containing vineyards and colourful bougainvillea.

From this tranquil oasis, venture out into the stunning surroundings and explore the idyllic village of Oia. By day, wander through the maze of narrow streets lined with dazzling whitewashed houses and blue-domed churches, and at dusk, experience Oia's sunset skies - said to be some of the most breathtaking on earth. Follow a hiking trail from Fira to Oia, or visit the archaeological wonders of Akrotiri and ancient Thera. Wander along the black sands of Kamiri Beach, or admire the red volcanic pebbles of Red Beach.

A rough idea of price

A similar itinerary would cost in the region of £1,820 per person which included all flights, hotels, daily breakfast and transfers.
