Local craftsmen were used for the works throughout. Hand chipped white Siniotiki stone has been used within the house and delicate brickwork, dispersed with pretty white stones from the beach, complement the outdoor terraces. A fantastic feeling of light and space is created by the seven French windows leading off the spectacular sitting room area.

The house is home to a striking "Venetian tower" containing two of the three bedrooms. The stunning open-plan sitting room area is dominated by a traditional Corfiot fireplace. The room is beautifully furnished with comfortable sofas and armchairs and offers a particularly cosy atmosphere in the Spring and the Autumn when the nights can be cooler. The surrounding terrace is integral to the inside living space, has day beds, sun loungers and chairs and has spectacular views of the sea, Kaparelli Island and of the Albanian mountains across the channel. The covered loggia, barbecue and a large oval dining table seating eight, ensures that this combination of inside and outside living is a perfect entertaining space. The elegantly designed kitchen has a large American fridge, coffee machine and Miele and Neff appliances. It is separated from the sitting room area by a black granitetopped island. A guest cloakroom and a charmingly decorated bedroom, with its own en-suite bathroom and shower, pretty beamed ceilings and access to its own private terrace completes the ground floor accommodation. The staircase leads up from the sitting room to two exquisitely designed "Venetian tower" bedrooms complete with pretty beamed ceilings. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and shower.

The landscaped garden area surrounding the house is well thought out and is surrounded by beautiful natural rock features, shrubs, flora and indigenous maquis. The grounds are inter-planted with cypress, oak, judas trees, carob, pomegranates, olives and indigenous vegetation. From the pool terrace, beautiful stone steps and a pathway weaves its way down to the shared jetty (with Cassiopeia.) The views from Atolikos are just as spectacular as those of its neighbour Cassiopeia, yet, being closer to the sea and with the sound of the waves lapping below, one gets even more of a seaside feeling.

A plasma television, state of the art Sonos music system in the sitting room, televisions in all the bedrooms and Wi-fi all contribute to the contemporary comfort and convenience the house. The house has its own vehicle access and is a 10-15 minute walk into the thriving small village and harbour of Kassiopi with its shops, bars and restaurants.
