Activities in Costa Rica

That's the beauty of Costa Rica - so much to do in such a small space, and even with the option to do that most precious of things as well - absolutely nothing. Let's start with that indolent option, best achieved at one of the luxurious lodges on the Pacific Coast. If the appeal of simply lounging around in the sun is limited, this coastline also has some of the finest surf breaks in the Americas, and some incredible flora and fauna, particularly in the Corcovardo National Park. The mountainous interior is home to canopy tours, zip wires and wonderful walking and the Caribbean coast hosts the Tortuguero wetlands, best explored by boat, and (in season) thousands upon thousands of hawksbill and green turtles laying and hatching on the beaches.
