Things to do on the Osa Peninsula

The Osa Peninsula and the Golfo Dulce are areas of both extreme beauty and biological diversity, most particularly in the Corcovado National Park. Here you can find deserted beaches, waterfalls, high tree canopies and incredible wildlife spotting opportunities. While here, make the most of the hiking trails through the National Park - although some of these are not for the faint-hearted due to their long distances, tricky terrains and multitude of insects. However, it's worth every moment of exertion and each insect bite for the views and wildlife, and you may even get to see anteater, tapir and Costa Rica's big cats. Take a look at our recommendations of things to do on the Osa Peninsula for more.
