Back by popular demand, this year's trickography competition culminated in a party hosted by ourselves and the Yodas of the party world, Sharky & George. From the live trick photos and frame decorating, to tablet doodling and party food - we had a blast. The Sharky & George team were on brilliant form and everyone's imagination ran wild (children and adults alike) as the team conjured up party games and photo shoots galore.
Samsung BlueHouse were a new addition to this year's party and we were delighted to be let loose with their latest technologies. (If not slightly envious of how easily the children got to grips with the tablets). Every child went home with a trick photo of themselves that had been taken and printed by the Samsung team. Photos were then beautifully decorated by doodling with the tablets and sitting in on Sharky & George's frame decorating master class. Watch your back Mario Testino, we've found some creative geniuses in the making.
Throughout the summer we were inundated with trick photos and received over 70 entries. The competition was stiff, the suspense was growing and there was a lot of ooing and arring in the office. After much debate Anna Warner's 'Beach Yoga' entry was crowned our winner and Anna recorded an epic Oscars-style acceptance speech that we played at the party. (Anna and family were off on important trickography business, scoping out new projects for 2015 and could not make the party). We were totally tricked by those bendy legs and wooed by the beach theme.
Anna and family will be jetting off to Forte Village, Sardinia for three nights and received a Samsung Mini NX Camera (complete with a selfie flip mode) to hone those trickography skills even further. Roll on next year!
