As a very family-friendly team we understand the pressure of keeping small people entertained and engaged whilst maintaining the integrity of the experience for the whole family! As the summer months approach we wanted to share a few of our favourite child-friendly activities in London and around the UK and Ireland. Our trips are all tailor-made to suit specific interests and ages to ensure family holidays are as much fun for the parents as they are for the children.

London Orientation

For first-timers to London let us orientate you in this amazing city with our specialist and child friendly guides. Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace is a must see for any family in London, visit with our guide who was a member of the Royal Scots Regiment Band for 14 years so can give you a privileged insight into the workings of the Royal Family and State Ceremonial, as well as letting you try on a soldier's bearskin hat! After the ceremony, we would recommend a panoramic tour of this buzzing city in a vintage Mini Cooper car - perfect to experience London like a local! This can also be tailored to include filming locations for those Harry Potter buffs, including must see visits to Diagon Alley and Platform 9 ¾!

Feast for Families

We can organise scrumptious cookery classes suitable for children of all ages. Why not enjoy a private cookery class making a quintessentially British afternoon tea complete with sweet treats, scones and cucumber sandwiches! Or if you would prefer someone else to do the hard work for you, we can point you in the direction of the best themed afternoon tea's that everyone will enjoy whatever their age! For younger children a cookie decorating class is a perfect way to spend an afternoon, or for those looking for fresh air why not join one of our special foraging walks where children can learn about the flora and fauna of the local countryside.

Scavenger Hunts

Our resident fun gurus have put together the best scavenger hunts around London - perfect 'funducational' activities for children of any age. Why not head to the London Transport Museum where you will have to use all of your investigative skills to find hidden sweets, clues and gems. The clues will take you around different parts of the museum and give you the chance to go on some of the museum's amazing exhibits - perfect for younger children! For older kids solve a cryptex in the Natural History Museum to foil an elusive jewel thief or decipher riddles using spy equipment to save the Rosetta Stone from the baddies hidden in the British Museum!

Outdoor Activities

For active families who want to get out of London we can offer a range of fabulous activities - let us organise a horse riding experience for you in the depths of the rugged Dartmoor National Park or enjoy a cycling adventure centred in the mellow-stoned region of the Cotswolds. Head to Scotland for wildlife watching on the Isle of Skye via private RIB boat or engage in an Irish Dance class with the cast of Riverdance to name but a few of our favourite activities - get in touch today to find out what else we can suggest!

Magic Garden

Enjoy a private visit to the brand new Magic Garden at Hampton Court Palace, opened today by the Duchess of Cambridge. The Garden is populated by mystical beasts, towers and even a secret grotto, combine this with a tour of the palace and maze with one of our driver-guides for a brilliant day out of London. We can organise a private breakfast in the stunning Banqueting House - perfect for any family celebration, or even a game of tennis on the Royal Courts.
