Itinerary Highlights

  • Auckland - 2 Days
Start your trip in New Zealand's largest city, Auckland. Given that Auckland is known as 'the city of sails', getting out onto the water on a luxury day cruise is a must.

  • Waiheke Island - 2 Days
A sun drenched bay and pristine white sands are the next port of call, with a stay at The Boatshed on Waiheke Island. The ideal place for a romantic getaway, or simply a more relaxing way of life, a couple of nights here is sure to re-energise, with fresh sea air, and some delicious culinary treats on tap.

  • The Bay of Islands - 3 Days
Sitting atop a private peninsula overlooking the Bay of Islands is Eagle's Nest, a secluded and chic collection of villas, with top facilities for making the most of this amazing area. With five golf courses nearby, biking and hiking trails, swimming with dolphins and volcanic ridge walking, along with parasailing and sky diving for those in search of that extra thrill all on offer, there's plenty to keep the whole family occupied. The stunning Rahimoana Villa even comes equipped with a Porsche Cayenne for guests use. Really.

  • Taupo - 3 Days
Nestled on the banks of the Waikato River in Taupo is Huka Lodge, an idyllic fishing retreat set in 17 acres of parkland, and one time holiday home of Her Majesty herself. Find yourself in the lap of luxury, with private chefs, helicopter tours, and a therapeutic spa for those looking to unwind. Don't miss the chance to gain an insight into local heritage by meeting some of the elders of a nearby Maori community.

  • Hawke's Bay - 3 Days
In a secluded location, amid the rural farmland region of Hawke's Bay, Cape Kidnappers' The Farm is the ideal retreat for a romantic honeymoon or peaceful stay. Hawke's Bay is a walker's paradise with some of the best and most scenic trails that the North Island has to offer (as well as perhaps the world's most scenic golf course), and it also happens to be one of New Zealand's finest wine regions.

  • Christchurch - 2 Days
Close to Christchurch on the South Island is Otahuna, where the Maori tradition of excellent hospitality really shines through. With a 30 acre garden where all manner of foods are home-grown, there's most definitely a foodie focus and buzz about this place. Try swimming with dolphins at nearby Akaroa, sailing in a harbour created by a volcano, or take to the skies and explore the local area by helicopter.

  • Queenstown - 4 Days
A short drive from New Zealand's adrenaline capital, Queenstown, is the Blanket Bay alpine lodge, on the banks of Lake Wakatipu. Follow walking trails through surprisingly familiar territory - the area played at starring role in the Lord of the Rings trilogy - or try fishing, sky diving and heli-skiing. A wine and arts day, complete with top-notch cuisine, can also be arranged.

A rough idea of price

A similar itinerary would cost in the region of £9,850 per person, which includes all flights, hotels, transfers and organised trips.
