Itinerary Highlights

  • Auckland - 2 Days
Begin your exploration of the North Island at Hotel DeBrett, in trendy downtown Auckland. Right by the Viaduct Harbour, Sky Tower and the Auckland Museum, and with art deco styling and chic interiors, DeBrett makes for a relaxing stay in an ideal location.

  • Waiheke - 2 Days
A sun drenched bay and pristine white sands are the next port of call, with a stay at The Boatshed on Waiheke Island. The ideal place for a romantic getaway, or simply a more relaxing way of life. After a couple of nights you'll be revived and refreshed, thanks to the fresh sea air, and some delicious culinary treats on tap.

  • Bay of Islands - 3 Days
Sitting atop a private peninsula overlooking the Bay of Islands is Eagle's Nest, a secluded and chic collection of super luxurious villas. With five golf courses nearby, biking and hiking trails, swimming with dolphins and volcanic ridge walking, along with parasailing and sky diving, there is plenty to occupy the whole family. And for those staying in the Rahimoana villa? Spend afternoons exploring the roads and coastline in your Villa's very own Porsche Cayenne.

  • Lake Taupo - 3 Days
Nestled on the banks of the Waikato River in Taupo is Huka Lodge, an idyllic fishing retreat set in 17 acres of parkland. Find yourself in the lap of luxury, with private chefs, helicopter tours, and a therapeutic spa for those looking to unwind. Don't miss the chance to gain an insight into local heritage by meeting some of the elders of a nearby Maori community.

  • Hawke's Bay - 3 Days
In a secluded location, amid the rural farmland region of Hawke's Bay, Cape Kidnappers' The Farm, is the ideal retreat for a romantic honeymoon or peaceful stay. A walker's paradise, with some of the best and most scenic trails that the North Island has to offer, The Farm's setting is reminiscent of the American West, yet with a big plunge to the sea below. This is also prime vineyard territory, and so one of the best spots to indulge in a tipple or two of New Zealand's finest.

  • Wellington - 3 Days
Complete your North Island sojourn with a stay at Wharekauhau Lodge, overlooking Palliser Bay and the stunning south coast. A luxurious country retreat of self-contained cottages within a working sheep station, the estate itself can occupy even the most restless. Take a 4x4 tour to explore the surrounding wetlands, beaches, rivers and lakes, or try your hand at hiking, horse riding and clay shooting in an unforgettable setting.

A rough idea of price

A similar itinerary would cost in the region of £6,950 per person, which includes all flights, hotels, transfers and organised trips.
