Named after a nearby surf beach and located in Yallingup – the ‘Place of Love’ – Windmills Break proposes a series of luxury rooms for the discerning adventurer.
The 10 acres of land ensures guests' privacy: each room has a private courtyard and decking area leading directly onto the gardens. All are en suite, some with spa bath, and the stand-alone, self-contained Premier Spa Apartment also has a balcony.
The retreat is ideal for relaxation, having its own infinity pool, outdoor spa, massage room and library. Wander down one of the walking trails, to the accompaniment of birdsong, or curl up with a good book in the library. Wake up to a gourmet breakfast and round off the day with tasty seafood and meat dishes in the restaurant, complemented by delicious local wines.
The surrounding area provides plenty of opportunities for exploring: visit the lighthouse at the 3rd oldest town in Western Australia, Augusta - a great spot for whale watching. Or for a different perspective, take a trip along the 1.8km jetty at Busselton, where there is an underwater observatory, showcasing the corals, sponges and fish of Australia's finest artificial reef. The HMAS Swan wreck at Dunsborough is one of the largest dive wrecks in the southern hemisphere and the nearby Geographe Bay is one of the best places for spotting whales on their yearly migration. Yallingup beach itself is a surfer's paradise, but also encompasses several calmer lagoons for serene swimming.
It is perfect for ultimate R & R
