Where to go in Namibia

The obvious starting point is stunning desert landscape of the NamibRand. Climb the world's tallest sand dunes at Sossusvlei for a view several miles long before getting an aerial view of the Namib Desert's sand dunes meeting the Atlantic - a sand sea on one side, a saltwater sea on the other. On an extraordinary Skeleton Coast safari you will visit a Himba tribal village for a glimpse of their traditional way of life. Finally, for a more traditional safari experience, head to Etosha and Damaraland:
