In an increasingly hectic world, sometimes a holiday just needs to be about sheer escapism – be that from the office, from the city, or even from the children. The trips suggested here all incorporate more than a little indulgence, and the time and space to take time out from reality back home.
The emphasis here is often more on the hotel and the in-house facilities than on some of our more adventurous trips.
