Lovely time in Tunisia
'It was an excellent short break'
‘We had a lovely time in Tunisia, although it was extremely windy.
We thought that the Dar Said was a super hotel, and much more Patrick’s and my taste than The Residence. Our daughter, however, loved The Residence with its enormous swimming pool, tennis, camel riding etc. Both hotels were beautifully run and we found all the Tunisians we meet (Taxi drivers, shop keepers, waiters etc.) extremely friendly and helpful.
The highlight of the trip for Patrick and I was the Bardo Museum in Tunis. For our daughter it was The Residence Hotel and all its fantastic facilities. We also thoroughly enjoyed our time in the Souk and Carthage.
I only wish we had had longer to explore more of the Roman sites and to have travelled to the desert. It was an excellent short break, many thanks for organising it for us.’
