Neeleshwar was truly exceptional and we couldn’t fault it in any respect. Compared to any other hotel, anywhere, we have been to over the last few years, it stands apart in a class of its own. The welcome, the care, the attention and the staff are very special – the service is extremely personal and caring without exception. The facilities are great and the rooms are beautiful as well as extremely well appointed. All that plus the superlative food added up to a unique blend and we’d like to go back sometime.
The Windermere was also great, but for different reasons. The food was excellent, the rooms comfortable, the ambiance and setting very restful. The owner was also very friendly. Ideas for improvement would include putting a written briefing in a folder in the rooms, including a map of local walks and a more detailed explanation of the hot water system.
All in all a great trip.’
