Three Tree Hill Lodge for families

Set in the foothills of the Drakensberg Mountains & overlooking the Spioenkop Game Reserve, Three Trees is a small owner-run luxury lodge that is the perfect destination for the discerning parents wanting old fashioned outdoors and nature based entertainment for their children. The Falcon Ridge Birds of Prey Display Centre thrills visitors every morning, with a fantastic show, that highlights the intelligence, speed and unmatched power of these magnificent birds. An Activity Centre in the Northern reaches of the Drakensberg boasts quad biking, archery, zip lining & paint ball for the more adventurous.

The Family Suite at Three Trees is ideally situated in close proximity to the main lounge/dining area & far enough away from the other guest suites & swimming pool. The Suite has 2 bedrooms, 1,5 bathrooms & a small lounge/kitchenette area all joined by a verandah with spectacular views of Spioenkop. There is a sand pit under a shady tree in the front garden, where children can discover the delights of building sand castles in the African soil. A fridge, microwave, kettle & wash-up area provides mothers with easy access to bottle/food preparation for babies. Earlier meal times are usually arranged for children so their parents can enjoy leisurely dining with other adult company. Child minders are also available on request.
