Royal Madikwe
A luxury safari lodge situated in the Madikwe Game Reserve in South Africa’s North West Province.
Royal Madikwe has just five luxury air-conditioned chalets for a maximum of ten guests. Each chalet offers complete privacy and has a contemporary design with indoor and outdoor showers, a covered patio and a private plunge pool. The main lodge building overlooks a well-frequented waterhole and contains a lounge, library, swimming pool, bar and a dining room serving freshly prepared contemporary cuisine. There are also multiple decks offering panoramic vistas over the bush.
The Madikwe Reserve is home to all the 'Big Five', with an especially large elephant population and a wide variety of other wildlife, including the endangered African wild dog. Game drives are conducted in open vehicles accompanied by an experienced ranger.
