Ellerman House
Ellerman House is perhaps Cape Town’s most exclusive address – a luxury boutique hotel of just eleven rooms located in the premier Cape Town suburb of Bantry Bay.
Formerly a private mansion, the property occupies an elevated, sheltered site on the slopes of the Lion’s Head, with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. The interiors are richly decorated and feature a collection of South African artworks. Most of the nine rooms and two suites have private balconies, while the deluxe bathrooms come with under-floor heating.
Outside, immaculate lawned terraces lead down to a large swimming pool set amid palm trees. Other facilities include a fully equipped gym, a sauna, a massage service, a library, excellent restaurant and bar.
Ellerman House is within walking distance of the famous Clifton Beach, ten minutes from the centre of Cape Town and the bustling Waterfront and 45 minutes from the Cape winelands.
