Il Pinguan
Recently featured in Tatler, The Field and Vanity Fair, Kamogi is a low key and laidback private ranch which is the perfect place for families & friends. Ideal for summer, half terms, Christmas & Easter holidays.
This ramshackle and enchanting property is a much loved family home that has now opened its doors to welcome guests to take exclusively and to allow people to experience their own slice of life on a private ranch in Africa.
The House – pretty, thatched, colonial – sleeps up to 12 guests comfortably and the atmosphere is very much family, family. The property has a lovely pool and 'bush' tennis court and comes with a full team of friendly staff and guides who have been with the family for years and are on hand to host you should you require it. They will arrange anything from full English lakeside bonfire breakfasts, delicious poolside lazy lunches to fabulous sundowner drinks on a nearby hill.
The ranch has a range of both wild and domestic animals and you will often see elephants and wild game come and drink from the nearby water hole in front of the house, plus there are lots of horses to take for rides or you may prefer to try your hand at riding a camel. The feel here is about staying in a beautiful, wild area but feeling very much at home. Ideal for families of all ages and house parties of friends.
There are morning and evening game drives, guided game walks, guided farm tours around the ranch, horse riding on the stretching Kamogi plains, camel riding, visiting the local Masai village, cray fishing, alternatively, simply making the most of the beautiful pool and tennis court which can be used at any time.
