Kanana Mokoro Trail Camp

The most elegant way to see the beautiful Okavango Delta is by boat, so this mokoro canoe safari is well worth considering.

This mokoro safari allows access to some of the more remote and beautiful areas of the Okavango Delta, as experienced guides punt the canoes through the waterways in search of the elusive semi-aquatic sitatunga antelope, fish eagles, painted reed frogs, golden orb spiders and malachite kingfishers to name but a few of the species native to the region. Guests can also go for a walk on small islands where Pel’s fishing owl nest.

The camp itself is small and intimate, designed for a maximum of four people in two mini 'Meru' tents with comfortable twin beds, bucket showers and bush loos. Evenings are spent sitting around the campfire under the vast African skies. The camp includes the services of two professional guides, a personal chef, a waiter, a housekeeper and mokoro guides.

Testimonials

Don't take our word for it...

We have used OT for many years now and you seem to have a great team. But what has been most impressive with you is your speed of response, the accuracy of your information and the fact that you really make us feel you listen to our wishes and adapt itineraries to suit.
