Each of these safari options, be it a three day mokoro trail or a ten day private luxury mobile safari, are in the company of a top safari guide who will accompany you throughout your journey and provide you with their enviable knowledge of the bush and all that Botswana has to offer.

Mobile tented safaris tend to be more basic in terms of accommodation compared to permanent camps. When on a mobile tented camp safari your camp moves every day, so as you head off on your game drive in the morning, you return to a new camp site in the evening allowing you to see and experience as many different settings as possible and enriching your safari experience as a result. Paraffin lanterns and a crackling camp fire set the evening camp ambience as you sit down to enjoy a delicious dinner under the stars.

Regardless of what kind of safari you choose to do, whether it be by horse, mokoro, foot or elephant, the game experience will be fantastic and offers something very different to the normal 4X4 safari. Some of these safari options complement a stay in a permanent lodge or permanent tented camp to maximize your overall experience of a safari in Botswana. A horse riding safari or a private luxury mobile safari are ideal simply taken on their own for a week and then combined with a stay in Victoria Falls for example or head to the white sandy beaches of Mozambique for a Robinson Crusoe beach break at the end of your holiday.
