An outstanding five course dinner at Padaste Manor in Estonia after a lazy day of spa treatments and long walks. Shopping in Essaouira for hand made bags and jewellery – it’s a lot less hectic than Marrakech and the shop owners will give you tea and local sweets. Wandering around the streets of St Petersburg and popping into random churches and museums - many are free to get into and a lot less touristy than the famous ones. Turning the corner of a man-made hill to be faced with the breathtaking magnificence of Abu Simbel in Egypt. And last but not least, island hopping the beautiful Adriatic coastline of Croatia.

The 'Light and Sound' shows in Egypt. In my own humble opinion they can be a bit naff!
