The Chedi
The award-winning Chedi is one of the top hotels in the Gulf region.
The rooms have views of either the Indian Ocean or the mountains of Muscat, with the deluxe rooms and suites scattered around the gardens and interspersed with palm trees and small ponds. Along with the 350 yard stretch of private beach, there are three pools, one reserved exclusively for adults.
There are also two tennis courts, a fitness centre and an extensive spa. The main restaurant, overlooking the water garden, is one of the best in Oman, with four open kitchens offering superb Asian, Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine. The Poolside Cabana serves snacks and refreshments and there is now also an excellent seafood restaurant by the beach.

As soon as we stepped into The Chedi, we knew just from the feel of the place that we had picked somewhere really special.
The staff were incredibly friendly and greeted us with a refreshing drink which was perfect after a long flight. The room was beautiful with a stunning view over-looking the sea. We sampled every single restaurant and each felt so unique that you felt transported to the place that went with the cuisine.
