Lençóis trek
Brazil
In the heart of the Diamantina plateau, Lençóis is a town made prosperous by the diamond trade.
From here, a half day hike (7 km) on the old trails of the goldminers takes in the raw natural beauty of the region, stopping at Cachoeira do Sossego (Sossego Waterfall), one of the most beautiful in the region.
After a picnic, continue the walk following the Ribeirão do Meio, a river known for its smooth, slippery rocks that form natural aquatic slides. Refresh yourself in the natural rock pools before returning to Lencois.
