Thanks for the call. We had a lovely time in Cyprus, and thank goodness XL got us back before they stopped flying! Cyprus was wonderful, and the weather was just what I was hoping for. The kids had a great time, and listened to the BBC books a thousand times (it was like having teenagers with ipods as they were so busy listening that they didn’t talk to us.) The kikoys were also brilliant and were used a lot. The hotel [Almyra] was perfect. The staff were all great, and were friendly and very good with the children. My two bigger kids loved the kids club, and also loved having babysitters in the evening which was good for us. Initially we contemplated upgrading our room for a sea view but I am so glad we didn’t. We had a little playground just outside our room, and gladly we didn’t get the baking afternoon sun that the sea view rooms get. We were definitely relaxed and recharged by the end of the week.
