| DAY 1 | Arrive on overnight flight and transfer to Barr al Jissah Resort > Day to relax on the beach, swim and visit the Omani Heritage Village or enjoy spa treatments |
| DAY 2 | Morning on the beach > Afternoon departure on desert safari > Drive through the Hajar Mountains to Nizwa and visit the souq, the fort (the largest on the Arabian Peninsula) > Overnight in Nizwa |
| DAY 3 | Morning at the animal market (Friday mornings only) > Continue via Jabrin, with its impressive fort, and on to the Wahiba Sands > Evening camel ride before supper with a Bedouin family > Sleep under the stars in the dunes |
| DAY 4 | Breakfast at first light > Optional ‘dune-bashing’ > Drive to the coast, stopping to swim at a wadi > Overnight Ras al Hadd |
| DAY 5 | Early wake up to watch turtles lay their eggs on the beach > Drive back to Muscat via the ruins of Qulhat, with a walk in Wadi Tiwi, a snorkel at White Sand Beach and a swim in the freshwater Sinkhole. Overnight at Barr al Jissah |

| VISA REQUIREMENTS British passport holders can obtain an entry visa upon arrival at any land, sea or air entry port in Oman. There are two options: A one-month combined tourist/business visa costing 6 Omani Rials (OR). This can be extended for one month for a further 6 OR; A one year multiple entry visa, which is valid for three weeks, after which nationals must leave Oman for at least three weeks before returning. The cost for this is 10 OR. | HEALTH Vaccinations are not required, however it is recommended that vaccinations for Yellow Fever, Typhoid and Cholera are up-to-date. |
