The Serai
The luxurious canvas tents are divided into three categories – fourteen with their own verandahs, drawing rooms, and spacious air-conditioned bedrooms; six with additional private walled gardens with plunge pools; and, the ‘Royal Suite’ with its own private spa, pool, and lounge tents for the ultimate in desert luxury.
A campfire is lit every night, and a bar is set up under the stars. Guests may dine, al-fresco, around the fire or anywhere on the 100 acre estate. A selection of food and refreshments may also be ordered in the tents. The Dining Tent serves western dishes and delicious local delicacies using much produce from the camp’s organic vegetable and herb garden.
The Tented Library Bar is the ideal place to sink into a comfortable leather club-chair with a book and the pool was inspired by the ancient step-wells that dot this region. The spa offers a variety of treatments, designed to relax and rejuvenate and created by the renowned spa company Raison d’Etre. There are four individual treatment tents in the garden.
