Original Thinking

A strong motif throughout the lodge is that of the crocodiles which inhabit the nearby Ken River.

Pashan Garh

A jungle safari lodge made up of a cluster of stone cottages with magnificent views over the forest and a large waterhole which has been host to numerous wildlife sightings.

The lodge consists of 12 stone cottages, with a guest areas are designed like an elegant haveli merchant house set around a spacious central courtyard and featuring leather furniture and huge black and white photos of the dramatic Panna landscapes. There are also - subtle - references to the erotic stonework at the nearby temples of Khajuraho.

The lodge also draws inspiration from the dry-packed stone houses of the Panna region which differ from other Madhya Pradesh styles with dramatic roofs constructed from massive slabs of slate.
