Bali & Lombok

Indonesia

Bali, just off the eastern tip of Java, and its neighbour Lombok, are among the best known of the 17,000-odd islands that make up Indonesia - the world’s largest archipelago.

These tropical, volcanic islands offer beautiful beaches and scenic landscapes of terraced hills, together with cultural attractions, all kinds of water and land-based activities and a number of top-quality hotels to choose from.

Bali is a predominantly Hindu island in the middle of the world’s largest Muslim nation. The Balinese coast is home to excellent beach hotels offering a wide range of watersports, with the south coast particularly good for surfing and windsurfing.

Combine a few days on the coast with a trip to the peaceful, scenic interior of Bali, and the hill town and picturesque terrace landscapes of Ubud; cultural capital of the island.

Just 40 miles east of Bali and reached by a two-hour boat trip or a short flight is the island of Lombok. Here you can enjoy all kinds of watersports including excellent snorkelling and diving on the coral reefs of the nearby Gili Islands. Other activities include visits to the ruins of old royal water palaces and excursions to Mt Rinjani – Indonesia’s second highest volcano - from whose slopes there are fantastic views.

Bali and Lombok are easily accessible and therefore easily combined with other destinations in South-East Asia.

Testimonials

'Every one was incredibly friendly and welcoming'

The extremely kind thoughts and personal information you added to the holiday absolutely made it for us. I have already recommended you to many friends and everyone we met while away and I sincerely hope that you will reap the benefits.

Every one was incredibly friendly and welcoming going out of their way to make everyone feel part of the gang by simply saying hi and chatting to everyone, laughing and joking with you, having a beer or whatever….

Many thanks for all your hard...
