Ice Hotel
A seriously glorified igloo built from scratch each year on the banks of the Torne River in Swedish Lapland.
Inside, the temperature varies between -4 and -9°C, and warm outer clothing is provided. Guests sleep in specially made thermal sleeping bags on beds built of snow and ice and covered with reindeer skins. A key feature is the Absolut Icebar, where everything is, of course, made of ice, including the glasses in which the drinks are served. Activities available at the Ice Hotel include ice sculpting, cross-country skiing, ice fishing, guided snowshoe trekking and snowmobile safaris in search of elk and the Northern Lights. The Ice Hotel has its own restaurant in a separate building, featuring traditional Swedish delicacies with a contemporary twist. For the full experience, dishes can be served on ice plates!
Family Details
The hotel provide arctic overalls, boots, gloves and hats, so you don't have to lug another case full of winter clobber to Sweden.

A wonderful break full of so many memories
Thank you for arranging such a wonderful holiday. It was a real experience and we really enjoyed all the activities you arranged for us and survived the Snow room. Thank goodness for the good looking Swede with loganberry Juice in the morning!!!
The dog sledding was amazing and the food in the cabin really good especially having been transported in the thick fresh snow.
It was a wonderful break full of so many memories they will be mulled over for years and the photos will bore...
