101 Hotel
Iceland's first design hotel; smart, funky and much better inside than out.
The interior is a stunning example of Nordic minimalism, with an atmosphere of refined elegance and stylish comfort. The décor is a sleek blend of black, white and greys, with heated wooden floors throughout. The bedrooms and bathrooms are open plan, which creates extra light and space, and there are free-standing bathtubs.
All the rooms are kitted out with widescreen TVs, DVD players & iPod sound-docks, and some rooms on the top floors have views across the Bay of Reykajvik. On the ground floor is a long, glass-roofed bar-restaurant that lets the midnight sun flood in during the summer months. In the basement is a billiards room, small gym and a mini-spa with a steam bath, jacuzzi and plunge pool.
