Vedema Resort
Overlooking rolling vineyards and the Aegean Sea, Vedema Resort is one of Santorini’s most luxurious hotels.
The buildings are in the traditional Greek architectural style, with distinctive domed cupolas, and each spacious villa has its own private veranda and marble bathroom. The atmosphere is one of fresh minimalism and ‘barefoot chic’.
There are two restaurants – the gourmet ‘Vinsanto’, housed in a 400-year-old winery, serves fine Mediterranean cuisine, while the ‘Pergola’ pool restaurant offers light meals and Greek specialities.
A wine bar hosts tastings at sunset each day. Other facilities include a swimming pool, fitness centre, and the spa, which has a sauna, Turkish bath, and offers a variety of treatments and relaxing massages.
Guests also have access to a private black-sand beach a mile or so away away, with free sunbeds and bar service, and free use of bicycles to get around the island.
