Porto Sani Village
The Porto Sani Village is surrounded by one thousand acres of pine forests, sandy beaches and a private marina on the Kassandra peninsula – the westernmost prong of the trident-like peninsula that juts into the northern Aegean.
The Porto Sani Village is one of four idyllic hotels on this expansive and beautiful estate, and this suite-only hotel was completely refurbished in 2008 and now features handcrafted furniture and linen fabrics in all the suites.
Days can be spent in the extensive gardens or lying by the lagoon-style pool. Guests can visit shops, bars and cafés around the marina, or flop on the private, sandy beach reserved exclusively for guests of the Porto Sani Village and the Sani Asterias Suites – the other five-star part of the resort.
There is a water-sports centre, PADI diving centre with reliable and well-trained instructors, tennis courts with coaches and even a mountain-bike centre so that the intrepid can set out on island journeys, armed with sumptuous picnics.
For dining, Porto Sani Village has two restaurants - one casual, one gourmet - and there are fourteen other restaurants scattered around the resort to choose from. After supper, guests can sit outside under the stars in the resort’s open-air cinema.
