Perivolas Traditional Houses

The complex of houses is built into the red volcanic slopes high above the Aegean Sea and a short walk from the charming village of Oia. The ‘traditional houses’ are actually a group of centuries-old cave dwellings that were once the homes, wineries and stables of indigenous fishermen and farmers.

They are now transformed into a variety of stylish, modern studios and suites characterised by smoothly curved, whitewashed walls, vaulted ceilings, and domed bathrooms. All are air-conditioned, furnished with simple elegance and have terraces with breathtaking views of Santorini’s famous caldera.

Perivolas is surrounded by landscaped grounds containing vineyards, wild fig trees and colourful bougainvillea, creating a tranquil oasis. The poolside café-bar makes the perfect place to relax with an evening cocktail and watch the spectacular sunsets.
