The hotel is housed in classic Greek white-and-blue-painted buildings and set amid landscaped gardens tumbling down a rocky hillside to a pebble beach.

The rooms and suites overlook the Aegean Sea, and each is individually decorated with a blend of mosaics, antiques, and the proprietor’s own collection of modern art.

There are no fewer than five swimming pools, one with seawater and underwater music; a private beach with water sports facilities including windsurfing and scuba diving; a fully equipped ‘Neptune’ fitness centre with sauna, Jacuzzi and massage service; and a squash court.

‘La Meduse’ gourmet restaurant is one of the best on Mykonos, and another restaurant serves light Mediterranean food. There is also a pool bar with swim-up seating and a cigar & caviar bar in the evenings.
