Cassiopeia House
Part of the Kassiopia Estate, the first sight of the seven bedroom Cassiopeia House is breathtaking: the sapphire coloured sea and dramatic Albanian mountains provide the perfect backdrop.
As you pass through the archway and through a traditional Corfiot door you enter into a beautiful courtyard. Two 400 hundred year old olive trees, scented lavender and stone water features set the scene and soothe even the weariest of traveller’s soul.
A loggia supported by elegant stone columns, with a Morrocan day-bed below, provides the perfect spot for relaxation and a place to admire the imposing façade of the main house. There is direct access from the courtyard into the first master bedroom suite and adjoining guest room.
The master bedroom suite has the stunning high vaulted wooden ceiling of a Venetian tower and access to is own private terrace with an outdoor Jacuzzi. A ‘his and hers’ dressing area, walk-in shower, Jacuzzi bath and comfortable super-king size Jensen bed add to the sumptuous luxury of the room. A viewing gallery allows for unobstructed views of the Corfu Channel, Albania and the Corfiot landscape. A desk area with comfortable seating makes it the perfect room to unwind, relax and offers inspiration and tranquillity for those who wish to write, read or just daydream in peace.
The Tower’s telescope enables observers to track the progress of the never-ending boat life in the channel. A pretty twin second guest bedroom, off the courtyard, allows for the flexibility of use as a “family suite” if required.
