Private Hire French Alps

France

Some of the finest new Alpine hotels are opening up in French resorts such as Chamonix, but there are still some chalets around that make the eternal debate about ‘hotel v chalet’ redundant.

We all know the advantages of a chalet – a personal space not invaded by hordes of other guests/skiers; your own dedicated staff, be they chalet girls or cordon bleu chefs and concierges (delete according to budget); and most of all the ability to do what you want, when you want it.

It’s a pretty alluring combination, and when you see some of the chalets we now recommend, you’ll wonder why you ever stood at a check-in desk before.
