Bregenz festival, Austria

Austria

Giuseppe Verdi's monumental opera Aida appears on the Bregenz Floating Stage this summer and we’re offering the ultimate VIP package. The thrilling new production, reported to have cost £10 million, promises to be the most spectacular show on earth.

The story of the tragic love between the Ethiopian princess Aida – once brought to the Nile as a slave - and the Egyptian commander Radames was enthusiastically acclaimed at its premiere in Cairo in 1871. Since then Aida has gone on to become one of the most popular and most performed works in the opera repertoire.

As a lounge guest, a parking place is reserved for you. A lounge hostess will welcome you with a drink, take you on a tour back-stage then serve you with a four-course dinner. After this, equipped with Swarovski opera glasses you take your seat in the comfortable, covered viewing area of the Festival Lounge to enjoy the opera on the Floating Stage.

Delightfully located at Lake Constance nestled between Germany, Switzerland and Liechtenstein, Bregenz boasts stunning views over the Swiss Alps and the Allgau Alpen range. The festival featured in the last James Bond outing ‘Quantum Of Solace’ so why not get adventurous yourself with some local sports including cycling, mountain biking, walking, trekking, tennis, paragliding and a variety of water sports or simply relax with a drink and admire the breathtaking views across the lake.
