Svalbard – More polar bears than people!
On flying in to Svalbard, I had an image of white fluffy bears rolling around in the snow and roaming around the capital “city” of Longyearbyen. I was a little disappointed on arrival to see that this was not quite true! The landscape really didn’t disappoint though and is totally mind blowing, really not what I was expecting at all. When I say miles and miles of emptiness, this is exactly what I mean!
