Diving with whales
Not just an average person…
The average person can hold their breath for about forty or so seconds. Freedive world record holder Tanya Streeter can hold hers for over six minutes, and she’ll be at the immaculate Amanyara resort in the Turks and Caicos islands in the Caribbean between the 20th and 27th of February next year to talk (when not holding her breath, obviously) guests through her freediving exploits, and to join them on dive expeditions and underwater photography courses.

There will be evening screenings of her Diving With Whales BBC documentary and if the humpback migration happens to coincide with Tanya’s stay, then you might have the ultimate thrill of seeing her diving with whales in front of you. Stay four consecutive nights or more during Tanya’s visit, or during Amanyara’s Winter season (between 3th January – 25th March, 2010 – black out periods apply) and receive complimentary daily breakfast and one dinner for two.
