Favourite Places
I haven’t been to many places I’ve not loved, but among my favourites are Ethiopia because the people are so friendly and it’s fascinating, Chile because there is just so much to do and see there and my favourite city would have to be Rio. Reaching the top of Kilimanjaro is without doubt my most recent highlight though!
Travel things I want to do before I die
Until recently, climbing Kilimanjaro was top of the list, but now that that’s done I’d love to see the Orang Utangs in Borneo and the Gorillas in Rwanda, trek in the foothills of the Himalayas, and visit the Tribes in the Omo Region of Ethiopia before too many others get there first…
Worst moments
Trying to save money in Senegal and opting to stay in the cheapest hotel I could find in Dakar which turned out to double up as a brothel and falling off a camel in the Sahara somewhere outside Timbuktu.
