Travel things I want to do before I die

Do the Cresta run, heli-ski, swim with a whale shark in the Maldives, see the Northern lights, cage dive with great whites off the coast of Cape Town, dive the Great Barrier Reef, climb Mont Blanc, sail across the Atlantic, hitch hike around Ireland, visit Japan, Burma, Bhutan and Tibet, ski in Iran, swim across the channel, run with the bulls in Pamplona, do the Mongol Rally, become a Space Tourist!

Best Moments

Diving the Blue hole off the coast of Belize, a bizarre yet incredible underwater sinkhole lined with stalagmites and stalactites teeming with sea-life from giant groupers, baracuda and turtles to nurse and black tip reef sharks. Following the deep dives we returned to shallower waters to feed the sting ray and snorkel with the local layabouts… the manatees! The day was perfectly wrapped up with a rum fuelled lobster barbeque and dancing until the early hours with the vivacious and incredibly friendly islanders of Caye Caulker!

Best Avoided

Trekking in the Middle Atlas mountains without a guide. Overestimating our orienteering skills, my girlfriend and I went for an adventurous solo mission into the Dades gorge in hope of meeting a nomadic Berber tribe. Whilst the trek was great and incredibly scenic, we soon ended up slightly lost atop a mountain with the only way back involving some rather precarious rock climbing!
