The Indonesian archipelago consists of a sprawling mass of tropical volcanic islands that harbour one of the most diverse and exotic nations on Earth. With over 13,000 islands, it is easily the world’s largest island chain. From the north-west tip of Sumatra to the south-eastern corner of Irian Jaya, the archipelago spans over 5,000km. Indonesia offers stunning beaches, jungle, volcanoes, crystal waters, rich marine life, numerous cultural attractions and its own highly regarded cuisine.
