Vatulele

Vatulele is spread along a beautiful and totally private, white sand beach with huge volcanic headlands at either end.
This is one of the finest examples of integrating with your surroundings - it has serious eco credentials. The land itself is leased from the local Fijians, some of whom work at the hotel. As a result the impact of the hotel has been incredibly beneficial to the islanders.
All seventeen free-standing rooms, and the two special villas, have secluded verandas with hammocks, and direct beach access.
Dining is on the restaurant terrace overlooking the beach, or on the beach itself, with your feet in the sand and the waves lapping the shore.
At night, a bonfire follows to sit around, drink and watch the flaming embers drift into the star-filled night sky.
